Bill Bachman has studied percussion performance at the University of North Texas and is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music. He’s an international drum clinician and the road drummer in Neal Morse’s USA based progressive rock band. Bill is a contributing writer to Modern Drummer magazine; the author of Row-Loff's Rudimental Logic, a Guide to the Art of Rudimental Drumming; the Logic Book Series; producer of the instructional drum DVD's; Rudimental Beats, a Technical Guide for Everyone with Sticks in their Hands; and the designer of Vic Firth's Heavy Hitter pad series and signature "Billy Club" drumstick.

After 12 years of Drum Corps touring experience, Bill is now a freelance drumset player in Nashville TN and is an endorser/clinician for Vic Firth sticks, Remo drumheads, Zildjian cymbals, Dynasty drums, Rowloff Productions, and Sensaphonics earplugs.
