Instructor: conga

A native Nashvillian with nearly 30 years of experience as a a percussionist, Jamie Nichol is a member of NARAS who has recorded with nationally known artists such as Charlie Daniels, Dolly Parton, Ronnie Milsap, and Jessie Winchester. He toured for three years as percussionist with Dan Fogelberg. Other performing credits include two hours with J.J. Cale and house percussionist for 15 Charlie Daniels' Volunteer Jams. 

He currently performs with the nine-piece Brazilian Samba band, Som Brasileiro, which was nominated for the Nashville Music Awards Jazz Album of the in 1977. He teaches as a guest instructor with the Metro Parks Music Department and is also involved with various recording projects and performances in local venues.
